Third Inversion Music Publishing is an online music store catering to the music needs of men’s choral ensembles. Conceived and launched in 2005, Third Inversion Music Publishing has quickly become one of the most sought after resources for men’s choral music in the jazz and pop genre. The selection of music available on our site is quite varied and covers generations of favorite songs. While most arrangements are in four parts or more, there are some with fewer parts for smaller groups. All of our arrangements are in compliance with copyright laws, and are delivered to you in printed sheet format.

Presently, men’s choral ensemble directors spend valuable time searching more complex sites, finding little or no selection in jazz titles and a limited selection in pop titles. Third Inversion Music Publishing delivers quick access to product and provides PDF files of all titles. Our founder and president, Bob Wuertz, has been active in choral music for over thirty years. Possessing a Masters' Degree in Choral Music, his work is extensive. His specialty in men's voices emerged in 1997 in the San Diego area with his participation in several men's choruses and the development of smaller jazz/pop men's ensembles. He produced an award winning CD with In aChord, a small men's ensemble that he founded in 2000. A stickler for detail, his attention to rhythmic vitality, the emotion of dynamic variance and the color of nuance create the optimal vocal blend and presentation. His ensembles have received critical acclaim from audiences nationwide.

On top of his arranging talents and outstanding reputation as choral coach and clinician, Bob is an accomplished pianist, accompanist, organist and vocal soloist. In addition to his artistic direction and vocals for The Cosmos, a small men’s ensemble in San Diego, Bob is Director of Music at a local church and staff accompanist at a nearby college.
